This is just one of the wonderful pieces from the Valentino Spring Summer collection by Pierpaolo Piccioli that GQ Magazine featured in their June edition. The painting by Roger that appears on this garment is, ‘Floating islands’ (1993) a painting derived from a long held obsession with flight. Its clear blue skies are framed by a wind shaped pine that anchors a moment when weightless islands pass in the near distance..
